Clint, I just now had a chance to sit down and put figures together for the three trucks that we installed the lifetime filters in. Taking into consideration the mileage on the trucks and years in service I came up with a yearly average for the trucks. I figured out that by extending the mileage from 8000 miles to 12000 miles I can eliminate one service per truck per year which adds up to approx. $1000 per year on these three trucks. These totals include the savings of not changing fuel and air filters too soon. We were in the habit of changing the fuel and air filters every oil change and that is not always necessary. We will also be scheduling these trucks at 3000 mi to come in for grease jobs and at that time we will still be able to check things over and catch any possible problems. Besides the extra savings in stretching out the oil changes we don’t have to pay for filter disposal, less waste oil, and we don't have to stock as many filters. These new filters also let the oil flow through them better and we have increased oil pressure. With the better flow we will see better flow on cold startup. With the better oil flow we shouldn't see any oil related engine problems. Cleaner oil longer engine life!Maintenance on the filters is simple. All that is needed is to remove it from the engine clean it in clean parts washer and put it back together. It can't get much easier. Thanks for your help with these filters.
